As the Diocese of Austin is richly blessed with a variety of cultural traditions, and linguistic and ethnic groups, we invite those attending to wear traditional clothing to this event if you are able. In celebrating the ability, richness and customs in which the genius of each people expresses itself (Lumen Gentium, 13), the church purifies and unites the local church to participate in our common mission to draw all to Christ’s saving Gospel.
