The mission of the Diocesan Catholic Youth Conference (DCYC) is to provide an opportunity for youth to encounter Christ through liturgy, sacraments and engaging presentations which reflect the diverse needs of the youth of the Austin diocese. In 2022, we are excited to celebrate 64 years of faith and vitality that our young people bring to the Diocese of Austin.
This course examines key documents presenting the major themes about how the Church is understood, both theologically and in human experience. (16 hours) These classes will be virtual.
DRE Orientation is offered by the Office of Evangelization & Catechesis. It is an opportunity for new or nearly new Parish Catechetical Leaders / Directors of Religious Education to equip themselves with the knowledge to fulfill their role at the parish. Discussions include curriculum, certification, policies, record keeping, sacramental preparation, EIM and much more.

This retreat is designed for smaller parishes or those individuals who may be unable to attend their parish Confirmation retreat. This unique retreat experience is geared towards students preparing for the sacrament of confirmation. Or, you may want to offer an overnight retreat to your high school students that focus' on the Creed and the Holy Spirit.
