Whereas Case Counselors work with petitioners primarily in the intake phase of the marriage nullity process, Regional Advocates are primarily involved in the case after it has reached the Tribunal. Regional Advocates specialize in helping petitioners articulate the canonical arguments in their favor. You might consider becoming a Regional Advocate if you are interested in this ministry and already have experience as a Case Counselor or if you have a background in theology or law. Regional Advocates undergo a two-month training course which is periodically offered online by the Tribunal.
If you are interested in becoming a Regional Advocate, please click on the form application below and fill it out. We will reach out to you at the phone number you provide once we review your application.
