Thank you for assisting your child to complete the at-home virtual Called to Protect for Children (CTPC) program.
The at-home CTPC program uses a series of audio recordings and student activity sheets to teach the basic safety lessons. You may review the lesson overview and objectives found on the Building Boundaries page available for each grade.
The at-home CTPC takes about an hour to complete depending on length of your discussions and time needed to complete the activity sheets.
All elementary grade students in your family can complete CTPC together – this is a great opportunity for older students to help their siblings learn this important information.
1. Make sure you have a copy of the activity sheets to be completed during the program - three for most grades - for each child. (If you did not receive a set of the activity sheets from the parish or school, you may print the activity sheets for each grade needed.)
2. Press the yellow play button to begin listening to the five audio recordings: Introduction, Lessons A-C and Conclusion.
3. During Lessons A-C, there will be instructions to pause and play the audio for discussion or to complete the activity sheets. Press the yellow button to do so at the appropriate times.
4. Once completed, please return the activity sheets to your child(ren)’s teacher(s), using whatever method your parish or school is using to collect classwork done at home this school year.
