Join Catholic Faithful for a Eucharistic Procession from the Marian Shrine of Our Lady of Schoenstatt to St. John Neumann Parish in Westlake. The procession will include prayers and songs along the way. The procession will begin at 8 a.m. at the shrine.

Father Kevin Rai leads Marian Mornings on first Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon at St. Elizabeth Parish in Pflugerville. The morning includes Mass, a teaching, prayer time, silence and time for the sacrament of reconciliation.

The Catechesis on Human Love course is offered annually as a resource for those throughout the diocese to take a deep dive into teachings about the identity of the human person and human sexuality utilizing the teachings of St. John Paul II in his Theology of the Body. This course is required for anyone who is seeking to teach Theology of the Body concepts in ministries throughout the diocese. The course can be taken without the intent of becoming certified. The English track will take place over three days (June 25-27) and will be hosted at St. Louis King of France in Austin.

Pope Francis has asked us to “care for those who are in need of attention, understanding and help, to bring them the warm closeness of God’s love through tangible actions of sensitivity, of sincere affection and of love.” The Holy Father uses the Peter’s Pence Collection to strengthen dioceses, religious orders and struggling communities of faith when they need it most.

Sts. Cyril and Methodius Parish in Granger will host a Chicken Dinner on June 30 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the parish hall. Plates are $15 each and will include fried chicken, cole slaw, green beans, noodles and peaches. All are welcome!
