The Parish Secretary role encompasses receptionist, clerical, and administrative duties for the church office as well as other duties as assigned. This is a full-time position reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer.
The Parish Secretary provides receptionist, clerical, and related office services for the priests, staff, and parish office.
Facilities scheduling and event coordinator for parish ministries.
EIM Sight Administrator coordinating EIM compliance for all ministries at the parish. Sacramental Record keeping.
A strong desire to help people within a thriving Catholic community.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills are critical.
Flexibility to handle any tasks or assignments including those outside of normal responsibilities.
Effective communication skills for interacting with a broad range of individuals and circumstances.
Previous work with parish Sacramental Records helpful.
Experience using eSpace software is beneficial.
High School Diploma required. College work preferred.
Three to Five years of office or customer service required.
Working understanding of Catholic teaching, Scripture, and Catholic Tradition.
