Job Description: 

St. Michael's Catholic Academy seeks an experienced Athletic Operations Assistant who is involved in the community and dedicated to carrying out the mission of the school. This position is a full time, nonexempt staff position. The employee will work for 12 months of the year. The hired employee will report to the Director of Athletics

Duties: 

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited for the position to:
- Assist staff/coaches as requested
- Answer the athletic department phone and maintain the athletic office
- Maintain and coordinate the TAPPS website
- Manage athletic department credit card transactions
- Track all purchasing for athletic department and coordinate purchase approvals for sports/coaches
- Maintain proper student Physical Education credit (in school or out of school PE credit)
- Prepare Travel packets for coaches with tax ID forms/tax exempt forms/ tournament checks and confirmations
- Prepare press packets for announcers and coordinate media on game days (KMAC/I-heart radio)
- Assist the Equipment Manager with uniform checkout and maintenance of Equipment Room
- Work with team parents on game days and manage money for gate admittance and concessions
- Manages travel arrangements
- Facilitates Human resource requests for/from coaches
- Manages student transfer with admissions department
- Coordinates facility use and rental requests and scheduling
- Serves as game administrator when needed
- Helps Coaches with equipment orders
- Coordinates facility prep for special events
- Coordinates hospitality and payment for game officials
- Assist Director of Athletics as needed

Minimum Qualifications: 

- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of experience
- Positive attitude towards students, staff and faculty
- Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication (written and verbal)
- Exceptional organization, time management and prioritization skills
- Must know how to use the computer software websites:
WhippleHill, CareFlow and Zebra-ware
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
