Women of the Well with DeeAnn Smith

Women of all ages are invited to come together to be inspired & encouraged in their faith journeys. Join us for breakfast and to hear DeeAnn Smith speak about her experience in living out her faith in her family life, career, and community service.

Workplace Safety Forum

In the wake of the West, Texas explosion, Catholic Charities' Junior Board will be hosting a forum on worker safety at Fado's Irish Pub & Restaurant. A panel of experts on worker safety will focus on policies that keep workers safe. They will answer questions such as: Why is workplace safety an issue? What policies does the State of Texas have in place to secure workplace safety, and more.

The forum will begin at 7pm, but come early to mingle, order food & drinks, and listen to music.

Easter basket delivery help

Catholic Charities of Central Texas Junior Board, in partnership with the Diocese of Austin Office of Youth, Young Adult & Campus Ministry, is seeking young adult volunteers to assemble and distribute Easter baskets to clients in need on Saturday, March 23rd from 9am to 12:30pm. CCCTX is also collecting materials for the bags up until the event.

Women of the Well

Catholic Charities of Central Texas hosts a quarterly series entitled Women of the Well. The next presentation will be March 7 at 8:30 a.m. at the diocesan Pastoral Center in Austin. Dominican Sister of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist Elizabeth Ann O'Reilly will be the guest speaker. Women of all ages are invited to enjoy a hot breakfast courtesy of Cook Walden Funeral Homes & Cemeteries. 7th Annual Benefit for Catholic Charities of Central Texas

Lou Holtz, football coaching legend and ESPN sports analyst, will be the featured speaker at the 7th Annual Benefit to support Catholic Charities of Central Texas. Coach Holtz has established himself as one of the most successful college football coaches of all time. Despite never inheriting a winning team, he compiled a 243-127-7 career record that ranked him third in victories among active coaches and eighth in winning percentage. Currently, Holtz serves as a college football analyst on ESPN and motivational speaker.

Marywood Adoption Information Meeting

Expanding a family through adoption is an exciting adventure. There are many children who are in need of a family, some of whom are school age or older, part of a sibling group who want to grow up together and others who may have special physical, mental and emotional challenges. All, however,need the love and stability of a permanent home and family. Marywood at Catholic Charities of Central Texas hosts a monthly Adoption Informatiion Meeting to help potential adoptive families understand the process of becoming a foster or an adoptive parent and the children who are waiting for parents.
