Directions to the Diocese of Austin Pastoral Center
DIRECTIONS
Coming From the South. Heading North on I-35, take Exit 238A (also shows 2222 West). At the traffic light at the intersection of I-35 and 290 East, take a right. Go about 0.3 mile. See “PARKING” below.
Coming From the North. Heading South on I-35, take Exit 238A & B (also shows 2222 West). When you exit heading south, you will come down a ramp. Once down, go straight to the second traffic light, staying to your left. At this service road traffic light at the intersection of I-35 and 290, take a left under I-35. Go approximately 0.3 mile. See “PARKING” below.
PARKING
On your right, you will see Econo Lodge and Los Jaliscienses Taqueria #2 Mexican Food Restaurant. Immediately after this restaurant, you will see a driveway and the “Diocese of Austin” sign. If you turn right onto this driveway, you will have:
Two (of a total of 5) Parking Options:
- In front of the building. If any of the 16 Visitor or 2 Handicap slots is available in front of the building, you may take an immediate left and park in one of these slots.
- Behind the building. You may follow the yellow arrow on the right, drive under “The Diocese of Austin-Parking-8 Ft. Clearance” sign, and park behind the building on the top level of the Parking Garage.
Three Additional Parking Options. The Pastoral Center is at the corner of 290E Service Road and Sheridan Avenue. If you turn right onto Sheridan Avenue, immediately to your right, you will see a series of driveways and parking slots:
- The “Do Not Enter” signed driveway in front of the Pastoral Center.
- A short, loading dock driveway. Please do not park here.
- Seven parking slots. You may park here in any available slot.
- A driveway leading into a small parking area. You may park here in any available slot.
- The covered parking garage, marked by “The Diocese of Austin-Parking-8 Ft. Clearance” sign. You may park here in the lower level of the Parking Garage in any available slot.
After parking, you may enter the building through the front door on the north east side of the building and check in with the receptionist.
