Office of Vocations
The ministry of the Office of Vocations is two-fold: to recruit, counsel and provide support and encouragement to diocesan seminarians during their formation to the priesthood; and to foster a vocation culture throughout the diocese favorable to church vocations through education and vocation promotion, beginning with the family and supported by the local church. It is within the family that faith is nurtured and grows and it is the local church which provides for the sacramental life of the family.
Each Christian is empowered to identify (discern) and respond to the mission to which he or she is called as a member of the body of Christ.
