Public Information and Education

The Annual Pro-life Workshop held annually includes national speakers who are invited to present respect life topics of current interest. The purpose of the workshop is to educate, update, inspire and revitalize those interested in respect life issues. All are invited to participate.

The Life Times Newsletter is a quarterly publication addressing local and national Respect Life news.To see a copy of the most recent Life Times newsletter, go to our Resources page. It is free to all Catholics of the diocese. You can ask for a copy by e-mailing us, or add your name to our mailing list.

Pro-Life Speakers Bureau. Through presentations, the Education Coordinator educates and supports Catholics in being faithful to God's standards in these challenging times. For more information, or to schedule a talk, please e-mail us or call (512) 949-2489.

Pro-Life Resource Table Items and materials for display, selling or handing out are made available to parishes and groups wishing to promote Respect Life materials at events. For more information, or to schedule the Pro-Life Resource Table, e-mail us.

Respect Life Program Manual.  Every year the USCCB Pro-Life Secretariat publishes a Respect Life Program Manual with education materials for raising awareness and educating on the parish level.  Each priest, deacon and parish receives a program manual courtesy of the diocese.  http://www.usccb.org/prolife/programs/rlp/index.shtml

October - Respect Life Month.  Parishes are encouraged to use and order the resources and materials found in the Respect Life Program Manual to educate the faithful on the many topics and life issues that are of concern to the US Bishops and are an offense to the sanctity and dignity of the human person.  http://www.usccb.org/prolife/publicat/index.shtml
