Cultural Awareness Program
It is estimated that Hispanics are now fifty one percent (51%) of the population of Texas. Many Hispanics are Catholic and since the Diocese of Austin has experienced such growth in its Hispanic constituency the Cultural Awareness Program will help us fulfil our role in preparing for the future as a Church.
The office of Hispanic Ministry has developed a 3 year plan for Hispanic Cultural Awareness for the Diocese of Austin. This process is composed of a series of workshops which have been offered throughout the diocese since October 2004.
