Reflection question

Gospel Meditation

Please consider using the following question for the 21st Sunday in Ordinary Time (Aug. 25):

  • Jesus reminds us that following him is a serious, daily decision to embrace all the joys and difficulties of being his disciple. Today’s Gospel challenges us never to take our faith for granted and to continue to deepen our relationship with Christ and the church. How have you taken your Catholic faith for granted? In what ways do you believe you will have time “tomorrow” to make Christ the center of your life?
